What does the Instagram stand open?
Your Instagram profile, with the follow button ready. Paste your handle or profile link under Business details and we program the NFC chip and print the QR code to match. If you change handle later, email us and we rewrite it free of charge.
Does this bundle include a Google review stand?
No. The Social Starter is the Instagram follow stand and the cupcake keychain only. If you want Google reviews from the till as well, choose the Bakery Complete, or the Bakery Starter Lite for reviews on their own.
Does the Bakery Social Starter work with iPhone and Android?
Yes. Every iPhone from the XS onwards and every Android phone with NFC can tap the stand and keychain directly. Older phones use the printed QR code on the stand instead, so nobody is left out.
Do my customers need an app?
No. Tapping an NFC item or scanning the QR code opens your profile in the phone's browser. There is nothing for your customers to install and nothing for you to set up.
Can the keychain open something other than Instagram?
Yes. By default it opens the same Instagram profile as the stand. Under Keychain link choose A different link and paste your online ordering page, Google reviews, WhatsApp or anything else.
Will flour and sticky fingers affect it?
No. The stand is solid acrylic with the chip sealed inside and the keychain is a sealed 3D print, so both wipe clean with a damp cloth. There are no buttons, batteries or openings, and the NFC chip keeps working behind a light dusting of flour or icing sugar.
Can I change the links later?
Yes. The NFC chips are rewritable. Email us the new link and we update your stand and keychain at no cost. If you move premises or change your ordering system, the hardware carries on working.
How quickly will it arrive?
Programmed bundles are written, tested and dispatched within two to three working days of your order, then sent by Royal Mail Tracked 24 free of charge across the UK. You receive a tracking link by email.
What if it does not work for my bakery?
