Questions
Gym Social Starter FAQ
Straight answers before you order. Anything else, we reply within one working day.
Ask us a question
What does the Instagram stand open?
Your Instagram profile, with the follow button ready. Paste your handle or profile link under Business details and we program the NFC chip and print the QR code to match. If you change handle later, email us and we rewrite it free of charge.
Does this bundle include the Google review stand?
No. The Social Starter is the Instagram follow stand and the sneaker keychain. If you want the Google review stand as well, choose the Gym Complete. For reviews on their own, see the Gym Starter Lite.
I am a personal trainer without a reception. Is this still for me?
Yes. Keep the stand wherever you meet clients, on the desk, a shelf or the kit bag, and the keychain on your lanyard. If you rent space in someone else's gym, the keychain does most of the work: hand it over after a session for a follow, or point it at your booking page.
Does the Gym Social Starter work with iPhone and Android?
Yes. Every iPhone from the XS onwards and every Android phone with NFC can tap the stand and keychain directly. Older phones use the printed QR code on the stand instead, so nobody is left out.
Do my members need an app?
No. Tapping an NFC item or scanning the QR code opens your profile in the phone's browser. There is nothing for your members to install and nothing for you to set up.
Can the keychain open something other than Instagram?
Yes. By default it opens the same Instagram profile as the stand. Under Keychain link choose A different link and paste a booking page, class timetable, Google reviews, WhatsApp or anything else.
Can I change the links later?
Yes. The NFC chips are rewritable. Email us the new link and we update your stand and keychain at no cost. If you move premises or change your booking system, the hardware carries on working.
How quickly will it arrive?
Personalised bundles are programmed, tested and dispatched within two to three working days of your order, then sent by Royal Mail Tracked 24 free of charge across the UK. You receive a tracking link by email.
What if it does not work for my gym?
Every WiseTap bundle is covered by our 30-day money-back guarantee. If anything arrives faulty or does not work as described, we replace or refund it.
